  • November is National Hospice & Palliative Care Month

    Every year, we care for people from all walks of life—neighbors, teachers, veterans, and parents. Each person comes to us with a unique story. We offer comfort through care, gentle hands, warm meals, and a compassionate presence. We believe every life deserves to end with the same love and dignity it began with.

    Your generosity makes our care possible. We never turn anyone away for lack of funds. This past year, we provided end-of-life care for 122 individuals and their loved ones. We rely on community donations to provide daily care, meals, spiritual guidance, and acts of kindness, like fresh flowers by the bedside or a hand to hold.

    As we recognize Hospice & Palliative Care Month, we invite you to join our Hearts for Hospice campaign by donating.

  • Open Houses at Celia’s House

    Interested in a tour of our beautiful hospice home and gardens but not sure when to schedule one? We are now holding open houses at Celia’s House 2-5pm. Our next will be Saturday, December 13. Please join us and invite a few guests! You do not need to schedule ahead, just show up, thank you!

    The mission of Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice is to sustain Celia’s House, to ensure dying individuals and their families are exceptionally cared for, and to promote broader knowledge on the benefits of end-of-life palliative care throughout our community.

Fulfilling the Mission

Celia’s House opened in April of 2018 and as of January 2025 has served 670 people from diverse backgrounds and income levels.  All of our beds are subsidized so the entire community has access to dignified, quality end-of-life care.
