Holmes hospice house fundraiser hits $3 million

The Holmes Park House for Hospice Campaign has hit the $3 million mark in its $4 million fundraising campaign. The Holmes Park House, 217 S. Modoc Ave. in Medford, will be the first residential care facility in Southern Oregon to specialize in caring for hospice patients.

Plans are to expand the house, originally built in 1939 for Harry & David co-founder Harry Holmes, by eight patient rooms, adding to the four rooms in the main home.
